We hope everyone has had a great Thanksgiving and are ready to work off some of that turkey on the trails. December is here and we know most of you will have travel plans and plans with family so we have scheduled another light month. That also means Christmas is around the corner and so is our Christmas Party!!! See below for details.Weekly/Monthly rides.Wednesday Night South Side Group Rides continue to roll out from the Groce Rd. parking lot at 6pm. It will be a NIGHT RIDE so BRING A LIGHT. This is an all levels welcome "No Drop" group ride at a casual pace. If the groups are large enough we may split up into multiple groups to keep it fun for everyone. These rides are ultimately "Tentative" so keep an eye out for the Facebook/GroupMe posts! Additional things happening this monthSaturday November 4thSaturday Morning we are meeting out at Holston Creek Park starting at 10:00am We will be cleaning up around the trails and doing some well deserved trail maintenance. Food and drink will be provided at the conclusion of the work-day and if folks are up for it a ride may ensue. we will have a variety of tasks to get done so there is plenty of room for any and all abilities. You may want to come equipped with pruners, good gloves, shoes, shovels, water etc.…If you enjoy riding at the park, please consider donating some of your time to clean and maintain the trail. Plan to meet at the Landrum Ingles at 10:00am to carpool up to the Rice Pinnacle Parking lot for 11:00am This parking lot is small and we are planning to ride out a bit later in hopes the sun will be out and temps will be up but the parking lot may be tight!! Bring plenty of food and water for a 15+ mile ride with a good bit of climbing and some fun descents.
