This email is getting put together a little late but luckily there is not a bunch of things going on this month; The weather is definitely getting nicer and Daylight Savings time is just around the corner! If you are interested in joining one of our Wednesday night group rides but a bit weary of riding in the dark the time change will help as our days are getting longer. We have seen some phenomenal work getting done out at South Side with the installation of some new bridges and the rebuilding of Gecko. We would like to say thank you once again to Croft State Park for the effort being put into the revitalization of the South Side Trail System; the new bridge that's up in place of the old "Boy Scout" bridge is just the start. They have already started to move supplies down to replace the bridge at the intersection of SS Loop and High and Dry.As a Side note we are kindly asking users that you DO NOT ride the equipment trails leading to and from these work areas. Although we fully understand the fun of exploring the park and riding a new trail, these access roads are not intended to be "trails" for the general public and we need them to fade away just as quickly as they appeared. We would really appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the integrity of our current trail system.Weekly Rides Our Wednesday night ride is still pending weather and leader availability; please keep your eye out for a post on the GROUPME chat.Saturday March 12th at 10am we will be hosting a Trail Day; lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Our primary focus this Saturday will be preparation for Stump Jump. We have some trimming that needs to be done out on the flats and would like to attack some of the "wet" creek crossings and add some rock armor. If you have some time, we would love to see you out there!Thursday March17thSAMBA's monthly board meeting. Our board meeting will be held promptly at 6:00pm at IT Pros in Boiling Springs.
