Round TwoCorrections/updatesWith the wet weather we have had all week we are postponing the Trail Day until next weekend Saturday the 19th.Our Stump Jump poster had the wrong date. The correct date is indeed April 24th.************************************************The Army Corps of Engineers are starting the clearing on the South Side of the park. This area includes the end of Scotts Hill, all of High and Dry and a few portions of the South Side Loop Trail. A long section between the High and Dry tail heads and the section known as Range to Creek. These areas are circled below They REQUIRE the public to stay 350Ft away from the working areas during the working day.We are planning to tape off the areas between Gibson Rd and Rock Creek and would like to advise folks if you wish to ride clockwise from the parking lot to please use Fern Gully to cut back across the park. This work shouldn't take long and the current estimate is about a months' time. We really don't want to disrupt this time line especially since it's backing up so close to Stump Jump and the trails are going to need some serious help when they are done. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated!!!Saturday March 19th at 10am we will be hosting a Trail Day; lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Our primary focus this Saturday will be preparation for Stump Jump. We have some trimming that needs to be done out on the flats and would like to attack some of the "wet" creek crossings and add some rock armor.
